Join Petra Reid, author of 'MacSonnetries', for a live performance of her newest work 'My Diabetes Type 2 – an A to Z in Limericks', fully illustrated by the author.

A diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes is no joke, but here the author offers some light relief with an exploration of the condition in limerick form. The accompanying illustrations deal with global, historical and personal forces that led to her becoming diabetic; they are inspired by, amongst other things, the works of Veronese and Michelangelo's frescoes on the Day of Judgement wall of the Sistine Chapel.
