Join Scottish journalist and author Alasdair Soussi for an evening of swashbuckling adventure as he talks about his "magical and mesmerising" biography, Shadows and Light: The Extraordinary Life of James McBey, for Book Week Scotland.
Following on from the exhibition at Aberdeen Art Gallery earlier this year, author Alasdair Soussi will be delivering a talk on painter and printmaker James McBey with a particular focus on his exploits across Europe, the United States and the Arabic-speaking world, where he lived and died in Tangier, Morocco.
